The Dark Knight - Tumblr Rules

Okay let’s lay out some ground rules here.

Not all of us are going to be seeing this movie on Thursday night (the 17th), so can we please make a deal and those of you who are seeing it that night will agree to not post ANYTHING about the movie. No quotes, no “oh my god it was so amazing when…”, no “I can’t believe…”.

I’m not even talking about spoilers. It’s already getting to the point where I have to glance away from the movie posters and trailers that are on my dashboard.

Deal? Handshake?

Oh hell, forget it. This will never work. I’ll just stay away from Tumblr for 24 hours.

 I have noticed the entire Tumblr community pulling each other off in excitement. It is pretty funny, though, I must say.

Seeing it at the fucking IMAX on the sixteenth bitches? Tell/bring your friends, I want a massive group to go along with Albert’s.

I cannot describe it. I watched this movie, and I cried at the end. For the first time in a very long time. I’m still a bit teary. And I cannot describe it.It made me think about my life; life in general, and just how quickly it can go in a flash. And about cancer- the silent killer. It’s always such awful news when people die of cancer. Regardless, I feel so…strange. I’m all over the place. Hardly any films do this to me, let alone Hollywood films. What is wrong with me? Bed time, I think.

Björk and Sigur Rós doing a free concert together in Reykjavik to raise awareness of the destruction of Iceland’s landscape is great. National Geographic streaming the entire concert on Nat Geo Music is even better.

June 28th, 7pm to 10pm GMT. Be there.
